David Koppelman is an Attorney based in Los Angeles, California, who is currently serving as the Manager, Owner, and CEO of his firm, the Koppelman Law Firm. Through his firm and in his career, David primarily focuses on personal injury litigation and helping his clients find justice. He works in several areas, including wrongful death, personal injury, automobile collisions, motorcycle and truck accidents, and employment matters. 

David knew from his childhood that law would make a good career fit for his life. From middle school, where he was able to argue and explain to the principal his rationale for standing up to a schoolyard bully, David has had a passion for advocating for others and ensuring justice prevails. 

David Koppelman attended American University in Washington, D.C., where he decided to pursue law as a career and enrolled in the Political Science Program. In 2006, David graduated cum laude with his Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science, having earned honors.  From there, he attended The Pennsylvania State University Dickinson School of Law. Here, alongside serving on Moot Court (the American Association for Justice [AAJ] Trial Team) and as the co-president for the Phi Alpha Delta Law Fraternity, David Koppelman graduated in 2010 with his Juris Doctor degree. 

While pursuing his degree, David had the chance to work closely with Julian Bond, the Chairman of the NAACP at the time, and an experienced legal professional who has sat down with Presidents and walked with Martin Luther King Jr. Throughout his education, David interned with Julian Bond and – after graduation – he took a position with the oldest and largest civil rights organization in the nation as a Legislative Assistant, a Political Aide to Chairman Julian Bond, and a Law Fellow across several years. 

In his career as an Attorney, David Koppelman has distinguished himself as a skilled and experienced trial lawyer who – throughout his career – has represented hundreds of clients on behalf of their personal injury lawsuits. Across his career, David’s vigorous work and persistence have paid off; on behalf of his clients, his work has resulted in more than $30 million work of recoveries.
